Antonio's is based out of Houston, TX.  We are small kennel dedicated to the conformation of the true Spanish Presa Canario (based on FCI standards).

Proper Care of your Presa Canario

1. Socialization is important in the early stages of your puppies development. Introducing them to new sounds and different environments will be beneficial in the growth stage.
    
2. Nutrition is another important aspect of your puppies development. Make sure to feed your puppy food specifically for LARGE BREED PUPPIES.
    
3. Training. Be sure to teach your puppy basic obedience during the early stages of their life. If you are not comfortable with training your puppy, please enroll them in a basic obedience training class. We feel obedience training should be taught prior to starting any protection training.
    
4. Health. We recommend that you have your puppy seen by a licensed physician within 72 hours of delivery. Make sure to keep up with the recommended vaccination and de-worming schedule set forth by your Vet.

Presa Canario VS Dogo Canario (the great debate)

This a touchy subject in the Presa World. At Antonio's we believe the Presa Canario and the Dogo Canario are the same breed with 2 different names and 2 standards. We base our breeding program on the standard set forth by the FCI.  We have chosen this standard because we feel this standard will benefit the Presa Canario in gaining conformation and respect as a reputable breed.
